ACA’s member introduces the goals and benefits of establishing and operating VCCA

VCCA is soi keo anh vs ya network including the participation of 12 organizations working in the field of sustainable energy, green development and climate change adaption in Vietnam. At the same time, it is a member of International Alliances for Climate Action (ACA).

With the view of aiming at the low-carbon economy for safety, sustainable development and prosperity of Vietnam, VCCA links the hastening of the application of green, safe and sustainable solutions to the reasonable and effective cost for the citizen.

Visiting the display space on green living activities and climate change adaption

In which, VCCA is carrying out 5 action programs including One million green houses, Green cities (OPCC), Fostering the integration of agricultural development and renewable energy, Greening production, Promoting co-benefit of clean energy and energy transition to ensure equity and create job opportunities for Vietnamese youngsters, women, and people.

As for the program of One million green houses, it aims to reach 1 million houses and buildings applying the green solutions, especially solar rooftop electricity, together with applying solutions of economical and effective energy use, which would benefit households, communities, and businesses by 2030. With the phase from August 2019 to December 12, there will be at least 5 pilot projects on rooftop solar electricity and supporting solar water heaters, etc.
