Speaking at a reception held in Hà Nội for Kawai Katsuyuki, Special Advisor to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Phúc also expressed his hope that he would meet PM Abe again at the APEC Summit 2017 in Việt Nam.
He told Katsuyuki that Việt Nam would offer all possible support for Japan to launch key investment projects in the transport and energy sectors in Việt Nam, delivering on commitments reached by the two prime ministers.
Coveying PM Abe’s greetings to his Vietnamese counterpart, Katsuyuki said Japan highly values Việt Nam’s strategic position and wishes to further enhance their bilateral extensive strategic partnership.
He said PM Abe was delighted to meet the Vietnamese PM at the recent G20 Summit and looks forward to meeting him at APEC Summit 2017 later this year in the central city of Đà Nẵng.
He also affirmed that Japan will support and accelerate the progress of key transport and energy projects in Việt Nam. — VNS
