The training course aims to help trainees with disabilities access AI technology to promote their products

The training course attracted a large number of participants, including members, managers of the Provincial Blind Association, the Blind Association of districts, as well as centers and cooperatives producing and trading services of the Provincial Blind Association.

The trainees were directly guided by Ms. Thai Thi Thu, the training expert, on how to use AI technology in creating product promotion content. According to Ms. Thu, the biggest challenge is the limited communication and design skills of people with disabilities. Therefore, the course content is designed with simple, easy-to-understand formulas to support trainees in performing basic tasks such as writing, designing images, and creating videos.

“AI Marketing training is already difficult, but AI Marketing training for people with disabilities is exponentially more difficult. We have developed the most understandable formulas for creating prompts and ways to write communication content so that the trainees can apply it immediately," said Ms. Thu.

Previously, the organizing committee conducted similar training courses for deaf and dumb people and people with mobility disabilities at centers such as Hy Vong Hope Thach Han, Lavin Home, and the Provincial Association of People with Disabilities.

This training course is part of a pilot project aimed at supporting people with disabilities in applying artificial intelligence in digital marketing. The project is being carried out by the Institute for Cooperation and Development of Phu Xuan University, with the support of the Liverpool John Moores University and the Deakin University.

The project will be carried out from November 2024 to March 2025. The next training session will take place in December, followed by a personal mentorship program to help trainees refine their skills.

Not only does the project provide opportunities to enhance the capacities of people with disabilities, but it also contributes to promoting their integration and affirming their value in society.
