Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho has just inspected the clearance of bomb and mine

The chairman said that this is a practical action to minimize the spending from the provincial budget. Furthermore, he also requested the unit to propose the plan of bomb and mine clearance for the remaining surface area of Thuong Thanh area.

With the areas handed over by the local people, the Provincial Military Command has to coordinate with the Brigade 414 of the 4th Military Region to conduct the initial clearance and mobilize the forces to clean up these areas in the coming time; at the same time, well implementing the clearance of bomb, mine and unexploded ordnance in the area of Hue Imperial Citadel according to the plan; deploying the “successive method” of the clearance plan, ensuring the schedule and absolute safety.

The project of relocation and ground clearance of the Area I in the system of Hue Imperial Citadel is an effort of the whole political system from the Congress, Government, Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee, and local authorities, etc.
